Martha Stewart invites you to many of her memorable gatherings, then helps you to host your own with menus of all-new recipes and hundreds of creative ideas for celebrations of all kinds. Lavish photos of Martha’s real-life celebrations (they were photographed as they happened and not created for the book) are sure to inspire as you plan your own get-togethers, such as a Sunday morning blueberry breakfast, a Thanksgiving feast with a rustic table setting and an Easter dinner with a spring garden theme. While Martha's Entertaining harks back to Entertaining, Martha’s first bestseller and the one that launched her career, she certainly doesn't rest on her laurels with new recipes, fresh ideas and breathtaking execution. Color photos.

I am reading it cover to cover. Lots of good ideas, inspiration, great recipes. Some I already prepare, some new ones to try. I can't give a party on a yacht but can do my own thing and learn from Martha. She's the best there is at all of this!

I purchased the book last year and enjoyed it so much that I bought two additional
books as gifts for my sisters. She has a unique style and even though some recipes are involved, they have always been delicious and well worth the time spent preparing. Our friends love the dinners and parties I have gleaned from
pages of her books.

I don't get the negative reviews either. This is a quality book that shows the entertaining style that is typical of "Martha". The recipes are adaptable to anyone and so are the decorating ideas. One just needs to use a little imagination and anyone's budget could make any dinner or event look beautiful.

This was a lovely example of Martha Stewart outdoing her own best efforts. The recipes look exquisite, and there is enough of her impeccable decorating to give a 'special occasion' look to any event. You will love this one!

Thought book was good coffee table book, however too heavy to hold and enjoy. Felt print was too small and pages not glossy and of quality paper. Not the usual standard that I expect from her books. Enjoyed the lifestyle pictures. Wished for more of her interiors.
