This book is everything I wanted it to be, and more. It sits open on my ottoman, ready for me to pick up and dream some more whenever I sit down. I am buying another copy (no, I'm not lending!) for my daughter, knowing she will love it as much as I do.

Beautiful Pictures Generate Ideas

Purchased this book to obtain ideas for decorating our Lake House. The books is more for beach houses than lake houses, but we still got some good ideas. The pictures are beautiful and show houses that have a relaxing appeal.

I live near the beach in Florida so I was really excited to get this book. It has beautiful photography of beautiful homes. I was expecting more of a beach inspired
decor throughout, not so. I was a bit disappointed in this book because the homes are nice but not that inspiring.
I like a book that will make me want to change even one room to look like something I saw in the book. I would say
that a popular coastal magazine gives me more inspiration.

If you love the beach, or cottages, or shabby chic, or classic country, or English cottage, or Swedish, or the south of France - this book will make your heart sing and fill your imagination with ideas and plans you'd never have dreamed of otherwise! I love this book!!!

Like finding a treasure chest!

After leaving my beloved home in Florida years ago; feeling like I was banished to land locked Northern Texas; I fell in love with all the ideas in this book! Full of beautiful photos showing different ways of using all the items from the beach that I had collected over the years, I am thrilled to own this book! I finally found a way to bring that "beachy" feeling to my home that I had been missing for so long, even though I live nowhere near the ocean now. This is a wonderful book that I'd recommend to anyone desiring that coastal feel in their everyday living.
