I should have returned this book. Nothing was new and exciting to sway me to instantly have a party. I thought as I flipped through it that I could have created just such a book as well. Not to be self-serving my ego, but truly my opinion. Means, I should have returned it. It will sit on a shelf or be given as a gift.

Purchased this book without "sneak preview" because I'd purchased her "Home Sewn" one and found it mildly entertaining. There is NOTHING in this book that appealed to me other than some of the photography. Quasi-cookbook with sporadic craft ideas. I was extremely disappointed and it's hard for me to say that because I admire Kaari Meng and what she has done. I think she has talent and an artistic gift to see what things could be but this book was almost a "sell out", coming on the tails of her "Home Sewn" edition. If I had to do it over I would definitely not purchase this book .... almost hesitate to give it even one star ....
