Have not completely savored this book but already know that I am going to enjoy it cover to cover. I have referred to the chapters on cleaning, laundry care and clutter control. Very helpful. This is a great book for giftgiving.

A Lot of Good Info in One Place

I agree that I was expecting more "old-fashioned" info, but still this book has a lot of good advice on living green, cooking, baking, cleaning, etc.
My only issue is the number of spelling errors and words left out in the text. It's not enough to make me return the book, but I would have thought it could have been proofread a little better. Sorry, I'm an ex-schoolteacher!!!
