This book has a lot of information along with photos of painting techniques, & tools to use. It also has alot of pages full of ideas of rooms they decorated. Its great and very helpful.

I was surprised to see more info on color palettes and decorating than actual instructions on preparing and painting different kinds of surfaces (which they pretty much limited to 4 pages in the back). Nearly every page has a picture of great ideas in all styles unlike magazines which mostly cater to the editors taste. Some of the ideas were tacky, but I'm sure you can customize it to your liking. Overall it's a good decorating book.
