Seems like everyone wants to get close to Anita Blake. Some want her protection. Some want to make love to her. A lot of others want a chunk of her hide. From the scars she wears, they've come close.
It's all in an evening's work for Anita. She raises the dead for a living, helps the St. Louis police solve crimes involving the preternatural, carries a license to kill vampires (who call her The Executioner) and doesn't take lip--or fang--from anybody.
In our first 3-in-1 collection, Club Vampyre... Anita confronts a 10-year-old girl who is also a 1,000-year-old vampire in Guilty Pleasures. And Jean-Claude, the world's sexiest dead man, slips into her life.
Ethics make Anita turn down a fortune to raise a 300-year-old zombie in The Laughing Corpse. Then she has to deal with the voodoo priestess who takes the job.
Before Anita can figure Jean-Claude out, she meets Richard, an idealistic alpha werewolf. When another vampire moves in, the fur really flies at the Circus of the Damned.
The Midnight Cafe finds our heroine developing her powers, social life and libido. And she buys a new set of silver knives.
While searching St. Louis for missing werewolves, Anita must keep her boyfriends from shredding each other at The Lunatic Cafe.
The Missouri countryside isn't safe either. Bloody Bones finds Anita tracking down an ancient evil and raising a zombie from a huge pile of bones.
There's a price on her head in The Killing Dance. And if Richard and Jean-Claude can stop bickering, they might be able to save her.
Now, in Black Moon Inn, our petite necromancer is facing her two toughest challenges to date.
One of them is the Vampire High Council. They've come to 'discipline' Jean-Claude. Burnt Offerings forces Anita to save the day...er, night.
In Blue Moon, Anita has to come to terms with herself--her growing powers, her needs and the men in her life--and get Richard, a high school teacher, out of the slammer before school starts.
Walk softly around this woman. Her Browning 9mm automatic is handy. And her silver knives are as sharp as Laurell K. Hamilton's writing. (613 pp.)

I HAVE READ ALL OF THE ANITA BLAKE NOVELS AND THEY JUST GET BETTER. THE CHARACTERS JUST SEEM TO JUMP OUT. THE SCENES AND STORIES ARE VERY WELL WRITTEN. I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE IF LAUREL K HAMILTON CONTINUES THE STORY WITH ANITA.

Check these books out, but start by getting Club Vampyr, The Midnight Cafe, then move on to these. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!

I love this book series Anita Blake is my favorite female heroine. They are so addictive, I read them Book 1 - 9 three times in a month and then book 10 came out I read them all again to get the whole feel. They have sucked me into a world where vampires and warewolves are everyday occurance. This is the world of my fantasy since I was a teenager. Give them a try.
