“Mortgage-free living has allowed me to spend my life more or less as I please,” says Jay Shafer, whose small houses have appeared on CNN, “This Old House” and more. Of course, not all of us can fit our families into a 120-square foot home, but many of us would welcome a personal retreat to escape from the demands of the day or to pursue our creative passions. With Tumbleweed DIY Book of Backyard Sheds & Tiny Houses, Shafer opens our eyes to myriad possibilities for simplifying and enhancing everyday life. Build your own guest cottage, writing studio, home office and more from photos, elevation drawings and extensive instructions for six Tumbleweed box bungalows ranging in size from 100 to 120 square feet. Color photos.

This book had great photos, but the detailed plans are only available on the book's website for significantly more money. Had I known, I would have skipped the book entirely.

Very useful, especially for some one like me who is looking
to build a guesthouse along side our cabin in the woods.

Lots of great ideas...sent me RIGHT to their website to see how much to build one of these tiny masterpieces.
