"Life isn't about the things you own but about the experiences you have with them. Patina Style embraces the life in things: the newel post worn smooth where hands always land, the leather trunk that bears the rubs and scratches of global travel, velvet that is faded, silver that is tarnished, or a flowerpot embedded with moss," say Brooke Giannetti, the creator of the popular design blog, "Velvet and Linen" and her architect husband, Steve. They'll show you how to breathe new life into your home with their advice for decorating with the things that just get better with time: the chipped, the weathered, the lovingly worn and more of the beautiful antique objects that wear their age so well. Color photos.

I have followed the blog of the Gianetti family for a while now. I have long anticipated this book being released and I wasn't disappointed. It was everything and more than I expected. I have hundreds of interior design books used for inspiration in my business and this is one of the best I've come across in a very long time. Once you get the book you will definitely want to sign up to follow the blog...... Once you follow the blog you will love this family! Buy this book. You won't be disappointed.

If you've seen the author's blog, you've already seen the contents of this book. Nothing new here. In fact, the blog is better. Save your money.

I agree with the others. I'm very leery to buy a book without being able to check out some of the pages. I have been spoiled by the sneak peeks for other books and am usually pleased when I receive them.
